River West Choice Neighborhood

The Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa and the City of Tulsa received a $30 million Choice Neighborhood Implementation grant to support the total revitalization of the Eugene Field neighborhood. The revitalization will take place over six phases and will include 460 affordable housing and market-rate units. All existing housing buildings will be environmentally remediated and completely demolished before the site is prepared for the new construction. Residents relocated because of the project will have the first right to live in the new apartments.

Wallace is providing structural and civil engineering services for the first four phases of the multifamily development including demolition of existing buildings, six acres of new multifamily housing and public infrastructure. The project also includes a five-acre park and 17,000 square foot full-service grocery store. Phases 5 and 6 are awaiting notice to proceed. (in progress)
