Kevin enjoys outdoor adventures and new experiences. If work and travel allows for it, he will piggyback personal excursions onto trips. He’s had some amazing experiences on such trips including hiking in Yosemite National Park, camping in Crater Lake National Park, jogging along the beach in San Diego and backpacking one sunny night in Denali National Park among caribou and Dall’s sheep.
Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and his Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado and California.
Kevin’s project experience includes a variety of loading conditions as well as foundation types due to the varying environmental conditions of project sites around the country. His structural steel experience includes high seismic braced frames. He has also worked on remodel and rehabilitation of existing steel and wood framing as well as addition to and modification of concrete and masonry walls. Beyond the realm of building-type structures Kevin’s experience includes detailed analysis of telecommunications monopoles using finite element analysis (FEA).
Kevin is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Colorado.
