The Muscogee Nation Council Oak Comprehensive Healthcare

Headquartered in Okmulgee Oklahoma, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation is the fourth largest federally recognized tribe in the United States with more than 90,000 citizens. The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Health operates community hospitals, a long-term acute care facility and physical rehabilitation center serving both tribal citizens and the general public. To ensure healthy generations of Native people, MCN also operates Indian health clinics and provides dedicated services for citizens of federally recognized tribes.

Wallace Design Collective provided structural engineering services for a 225,000 square foot healthcare center and hotel. Originally designed for Cancer Treatment Centers of America, the facility is now home to the Muscogee Nation’s Council Oak Comprehensive Healthcare. Outpatient services include urgent care, an HIV and Hepatitis C clinic and monoclonal antibody infusion. The hospital includes 27 inpatient rooms and seven ICU beds. There are also specialty clinics for neurology, stroke and orthopedics.
