Located in Osage County, Oklahoma, the 38,000-acre Tallgrass Prairie Preserve showcases the natural beauty of the Great Plains.  Wallace provided structural and civil design for a new 6,500 square foot, $1.4 million ecological research station for The University of Tulsa, housing two furnished classrooms, two laboratories, offices, a conference room and a library. The structure was built with low-maintenance and fire-resistant material and features a green metal roof and native brown sandstone.
