The Great Indoors was developed by Sears to create the premier idea and solution resource for decorating and remodeling needs.  Wallace Engineering provided structural design services for several of the 133,000 to 150,000 square foot design centers, including two flagship stores in the Chicago area, Sears’ hometown market.  Some of the one and two-story facilities include parking facilities.  In addition, Wallace has been involved in feasibility studies and design of remodels for takeover stores and additions.
