Started as a tiny family shop in Kerrville, Texas, the H.E. Butt Grocery Company recently celebrated its 100th year, serving families all over Texas and Mexico through its network of over 300 stores.  Wallace Engineering has provided structural engineering services to H-E-B for over 50 new stores and retail centers across central and southern Texas.  The stores, ranging from 60,000 to 170,000 square feet, have been built in a variety of soil and wind conditions, including hurricane and wind-borne debris zones.
