TOM WALLACE
Tom Wallace received his Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering degrees from Oklahoma State University. He is a registered professional engineer in 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
Tom has experience in the field of architectural structural design and related disciplines dating from 1975. He started Wallace Engineering in 1981 as a structural engineering firm which was diversified into structural/civil engineering in 1994. Tom currently serves as President.
Tom has been project engineer for a variety of structures, ranging from 60 story buildings to large aircraft hangars. He has been the engineer-of-record for hundreds of retail and commercial building projects for national clients Wal-Mart, Circuit City & Marriott.
Tom has been asked to testify in several structural engineering litigation cases and is considered an expert in this field. He is actively involved with specialty projects and sets the quality control philosophy for the company. Tom was inducted into the Oklahoma State University Engineering Hall of Fame in 2000. He currently serves on the Professional Advisory Council for the School of Architecture at Oklahoma State University. He is also a board member for the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture and the City of Tulsa Building, Housing and Fire Prevention Appeals Board.
