Andy was a 4-time soccer state champion during high school.
Andrew received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and his Master of Architecture, Structures Division from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed structural engineer in California, Hawaii, Illinois, and Washington, licensed Professional Engineer in Oklahoma and Colorado, and a registered architect in Oklahoma, Illinois and Colorado. Andrew is also a Building Security Certified Professional, a Registered Energy Code Professional with the City of Chicago, and a Registered Structural Peer Reviewer with the City of Chicago. He is an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and ICC Special Inspector (Structural Welding, Steel and Bolting, Structural Masonry, and Spray-Applied Fireproofing) as well.
Andrew has been the project engineer for a wide variety of building types including convention centers, retail, commercial, multi-family, educational, municipal, residential, industrial and warehouse facilities. He also specializes in the renovation of existing buildings. Andrew has been responsible for project coordination, supervision of design, preparation of construction documents and construction administration and administration of special inspections.
